What is Data Recovery?

Data recovery: is the process of salvaging data from damaged, failed, corrupted or inaccessible primary storage media when it cannot be accessed normally. Often the data is being salvaged from storage media formats such as hard disk drive, storage tapes, CDs, DVDs, Raid, and other electronics. This can be due to physical damage to the storage device or logical damage to the file system that prevents it from being mounted by the host operating system. Although there is some confusion as to the term, data recovery can also be the process of retrieving and securing deleted information from a storage media for forensic purposes.

What is the difference between Express & Emergency Service?

Express or Emergency: We offer 2 Levels of Service, our Emergency Service level is used for Recoveries when more than a few days is to long. This service level provides immediate diagnostic, and immediate Data Recovery. Technicians will work on your Recovery is completed. The Express level is our typical service level. This service level is typically between 3-5 days, and is our most cost effective option.

What is the Evaluation Process?

Evaluation Process: Our evaluation process starts as soon as we receive your media. Once your media arrives at a Vioplex facility, our Data Recovery forms are processed, and your account is now created. At this time, your media will be assigned to a Certified Technician for Diagnostics. When the diagnostic is completed, we can provide you a complete listing of all your data that is recoverable. We also provide a timeline, and exact pricing for your Recovery.

Data Recovery Pricing

Pricing: Hard Drive Recovery Pricing is split into 2 levels, our level 1 pricing is for drives that either have a logic or firmware corruption, deleted files or a corrupted partition. Our Level 2 pricing is for drives that have failed either Mechanically or Electrically. Level 1 pricing is typically $375, Level 2 pricing is typically $750. Class 100 Cleanroom Services are available for jobs requiring a rebuild. Our cleanroom fee's are $300. This fee is based on Parts, Labor or Platter Treatments.
